Compassion International is a global Christian child advocacy ministry dedicated to releasing children from spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty. Founded in 1952, the organization’s mission is to enable children to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.
With a unique and proven child-sponsorship model, Compassion International works to holistically address the needs of children in poverty. This is achieved through strategic partnerships with thousands of local, frontline churches in 29 countries across Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
Key program components include:
- Child Sponsorship: A one-to-one relationship between a sponsor and a child, providing long-term support for their well-being and development.
